At Structure House, we believe healthy food doesn’t have to taste like cardboard. You’ll truly be amazed at the amount and taste level of food you can enjoy while you’re losing weight! Our secret is in our cooking methods. Rather than mask the natural flavors of food with heavy sauces and butter, we enhance them with light seasoning so the actual flavor of the food is preserved. With a food philosophy that’s focused on volumetrics, you’ll learn how to get the most food for your calorie ‘budget’. Trust us, you won’t leave hungry!
Imagine walking into the dining room for breakfast and you sniff an inviting scent of cinnamon and brown sugar wafting in the air. You’re greeted by our dining staff with a piping hot bowl of baked oatmeal that’s so good, it almost seems like it could be a dessert. But if oatmeal isn’t your thing, we’ve got plenty of alternate selections. With a wide variety of choices, you’ll enjoy healthy eating like never before.
The food at Structure House was developed jointly by our Nutrition and Dining Services staff. Menus range from 1200-1600 calories and follow American Heart Association guidelines for a healthy diet. Guests are served 3 meals per day in our dining room, so you’ll eat without distraction from tvs, the internet, books, etc. It’s a fun bonding experience to share your day with your fellow participants while slowing down and enjoying your meal.
Choosing Your Menu
The best part of our meal plan is that you get to choose your own! Classes on menu planning guide you on how to select proper portions of lean meats, fats, veggies, fruits, dairy, and whole grains. We use seasonal produce as much as possible to guarantee freshness. Kosher and vegetarian options are available and we can work with most dietary needs (but call us if you have specific questions). We also provide weekly cooking demos to show you how to prepare your favorite foods, so you can replicate it when you’re back at home.
