Boredom is not in our vocabulary at Structure House. Our staff developed over 90 classes per week to keep you engaged and entertained while you’re learning healthy habits. But when it’s time for a break from classes, we've got you covered on that end, too.
Fitness Classes
We've got a full schedule of exciting and high-energy fitness classes to help you smile while you sweat. No matter what your current level of activity is, we’re able to meet your needs and help you have a great time while staying active. Our exercise staff is trained to help you develop a fitness routine that’s safe and effective while helping to break the widely held belief that exercise is boring. It is our goal to help you see that movement can be truly enjoyable and to give you the tools you need to build your own exercise plan that you can stick to. That’s why our program includes a fitness evaluation and weekly personal training sessions.
By working with you one on one, you’ll receive individualized attention to help you recover muscle strength, improve your cardiovascular endurance, stretch your flexibility, and gain the confidence to put it all into practice with group classes and at home.
Off-Campus Excursions
Structure House schedules several trips every week to Southpoint Mall, the movie theater, and the Duke trail. These are great opportunities to bond with your new friends and see the sights of Durham. Grocery store tours and restaurant outings practice eating out smart and making good food choices out in the real world. On occasion we’ll schedule trips to special events in the area, like baseball games at the Durham Bulls athletic park or a musical at the Performing Arts Center.
If you’re the adventurous type, you won’t want to miss our weekend excursions! With activities like kayaking, zip lining, trail hiking and biking, bowling, geocaching, and rock climbing, these trips will be unforgettable and so much fun you’ll want to extend your stay!
